What are the fees related to playing on a NSA select Team?
Registration fees are paid for the entire season year, fall and spring, at signing day or before June 30 online. Registration fee for U9-U14 Gwinnett County Resident is $320.00. Registration fee for U9-U14 Non-Gwinnett County Resident is $500.00 (this includes a $90 per season fee that is required by the county and is passed on directly to them). Registration fee for U15-U19 Gwinnett County resident is $160.00. Registration fee for U15-U19 Non-Gwinnett County resident is $250.00. Select team camp is $150.00.
Players are also responsible for coaches’ training fees of $75-$95 per month, tournament fees & coaches travel costs.
When can I expect to find out if my player made an NSA team & if so, what team they made?
Players that make an NSA Select team will be contacted via phone by a coach before 6:00 p.m. on the Sunday immediately following tryouts. For U9-U13 that will be June 5, for U14 & above that will be June 12. If you are not contacted by the given date with a phone call or an email, please feel free to contact the Boys Technical Director, Roberto Sibaja at roberto.sibaja@nsafury.org or the Girls Technical Director, Rob Di Figlio at rob.difiglio@nsafury.org.
When will I register, order uniforms and register for team camp?
Signing Day for U9 through U13 players is June 14. Signing Day for U14 and older players is June 21.
Players may register onsite or have until June 30 to register online and pay. Uniforms must be ordered on signing day and paid for on signing day. Team Camp also needs to be paid for on signing day to avoid a $30.00 late fee. All players are required to attend signing day or send someone in their place to sign forms and pay.
When will I receive my uniform?
You will order your uniform at signing day and the uniform director will place the order with Lloyd’s Soccer, the NSA uniform distributor. Orders are processed by team and the team manager will receive the entire teams’ uniforms by direct shipment from Lloyd’s Soccer. This typically happens the first or second week of August. If your team is doing a tournament at the beginning on August, we will put a rush on your team’s uniforms.
What tournaments will my team participate in?
Each team will do a minimum of 4 tournaments between the fall and the spring season. Each team will be given tournament information directly from their Team Coach or Team Manager.
Does NSA do fundraising?
NSA hosts 2 tournaments a year that help with fundraising for the club. The Jr. Norcross Nike Cup on August 14 and 15 for U9-U12 boys and girls and The Norcross Nike Cup on December 4 & 5 for U12 and above boys & girls. NSA asks for parent and team participation to help host both tournaments as they serve as the only NSA Fundraisers.

Occasionally a player with strong abilities and experience may be placed in an older age group.
However, according to Georgia Soccer regulations, a player cannot play in a younger age group.
* Note: Georgia Soccer now allows players of exceptional talent who are 7 years old on Aug. 1 of the seasonal year to try out; however, placement on a U9/U10 team must be approved by the Executive Director of Coaching.
