Norcross Soccer Academy Announces Plans for a New Indoor Soccer Facility and Office Complex

 

Norcross, Georgia – July 19, 2010 - Norcross Soccer Academy (NSA) announced today that it plans to open an all new indoor soccer training center and corporate offices in an existing, new 12,000 square foot building located at 4541 S. Old Berkeley Lake Road just around the corner from NSA’s home facility, Pinckneyville Park.

 

The new facility will include their operating offices, a video training room, restrooms and an approximate 7,000 square foot artificial turf soccer field for practices and games.

 

In making the announcement on behalf of the NSA Executive Board of Directors, NSA President James Welch said, “This is a project we have focused on for a long time as a major step towards offering even more to our members and the local soccer community. Our entire board and our staff have worked very hard to make this project a reality and we are all very excited about it. 

NSA has been committed to youth soccer since 1982 as a Gwinnett County Youth Athletic Association and we have enjoyed a strong partnership with the award winning Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation Department. Now, as we add our own indoor training and office facility, we will enhance what we have to offer our players, coaches, and staff.”

 

Tony Annan, the Executive Director of Coaching for NSA commented, “This new indoor training and playing facility sets us apart from other soccer clubs in Atlanta. Our players already enjoy quality outdoor fields at the Pinckneyville Park complex, and now with our additional indoor field space and video training center, our staff of professional coaches will be able to offer even more training and learning opportunities to NSA select level players.”

 

NSA has also announced that Luckett Architects of Norcross is designing the build-out of the project and has estimated the target opening date for the entire complex as late fall 2010.
