The R3PL 97 Norcross Fury Premier Girls won their division at the Jefferson Cup in Richmond, VA.  They went undefeated in every game and won the final 2-1.  This makes the third tournament win in row for them.  Great weekend, well done girls!

Congratulations to the NSA U12 Boys Premier!  Coached by EDOC Tony Annan, they captured their first championship of 2011, winning all four games in the Cobb FC Classic and bringing home the trophy! "For these being the first competitive games since December, I thought the boys played really well!  There were some tired legs at the end, but I am very excited about the spring season and what this team can achieve," said Coach Tony Annan.  The team defeated GSA Phoenix, CGSA Strikers, WGFC, and Athens United to win the tournament.

 Coach Paul Buckley was recently inducted into the Embry-Riddle Aeronautics University Athletics Hall of Fame.  With an outstanding career, athletically and academically from 2000-2003, he was honored in January in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The 97 Boys Premier are Champions for the second year in a row at The Disney Junior Soccer Showcase!!! Both the semi final and final game were  2-1 victories over teams who had beat them earlier in the season. Great job by the boys and Coach Paul Buckley!

The 97 Premier Girls were Finalists at Disney, losing in a shoot out and winners of the Champions division of the Norcross Nike Cup. Congrats to the girls and Coach Drummond!

Congrats to the U15 Blue team, they were finalists in the U15 boys blue division. The team did not allow a goal until the final match. Congrats to the boys and to Coach Munro!

The U14 Fury Gold survived the frigid temperatures to defeat UFA Black in an exciting PK Shootout to win their division of the 2010 Nike Cup!  Congrats to all the girls!

01 Norcross Fury Gold Boys, coached by Mark Tonner, are the Champions of the Concorde Challenge Cup.  They won all three of their matches to advance to the finals.  Scoring 14 goals and only allowing 1 goal.  In the finals they played Cherokee Impact Gold.  It was a tight match, but the 01 Norcross Fury Gold won the game 2 to 1.

The 99 Fury Gold girls team captured the gold medal in the Concorde Challenge Cup over the February 20th-21st weekend.  After a slow start and a come from behind tie against Concorde Black, the girls rebounded against a strong team from Charleston, S.C. (3-1) Saturday afternoon and dispatched ASA Extreme (3-0) on Sunday morning to advance to the final.  The 11 year old team spotted a very talented CESA team from Greenville, S.C. 2 early goals but fought back to take the lead midway through the second half, holding on to a 3-2 win.

Congratulations to the NSA 93 Fury Gold boys team, coached by Bryan Waltenburg for winning the NIKE Cup. The team won all four of their games against teams from Ohio, Tennessee and two teams from Texas. The 93 Fury Gold boys also finished 3rd at the Disney Showcase over Christmas week winning three of four matches scoring 10 goals and only conceding 2. All three wins came over Region Premier/State Champion opponents from Alabama, Tennessee and Connecticut.

Congratulations also goes out the NSA 93 Fury Gold boys team for winning the GYSA Classic One division for the third year in a row.  They did a fantastic job by allowing only 5 goals against, scoring 41 goals for, and receiving only one yellow card for the season!
